Most Finnish people regard reducing energy use as the best way to ease climate change, according to a poll published Wednesday.
The poll, conducted by the Finnish Environment Institute, said Finns were ready to take practical measures to slow down climate change and that cutting down energy consumption was regarded as the most important measure.
The poll also showed that men and women were different on an approach to climate change. Men viewed curbing global population growth as one of the top 10 practical means to tackle the issue, while women emphasized political decisions and international cooperation.
