Prime Minister of Bosnia and Herzegovina Nikola Spiric said Tuesday it was important to reach a solution in his country through political dialogue, Turkish media reported.
Bosnian people could not find solutions if they turned their back to each other, the semi-official Anatolia news agency quoted Spiric as saying at a press conference during his visit to the Turkey.
Bosnia was torn apart by a civil war between the three main ethnic groups from 1992 to 1995, after its split from Yugoslavia. It has been plagued by continued ethnic rivalries, widespread organized crimes and political instability.
Spiric said Turkey had always helped his country, noting that Bosnia and Herzegovina had asked Turkey's assistance to boost its relations with neighboring countries, according to the report.
Spiric arrived in Turkey on Tuesday for a formal visit upon an invitation by Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
