"Bolivia is the spearhead for our policies in the region. When we have positive results in the economy, the political weight of our country in Latin America becomes more important and influential," Golubev said.
With this strategic vision, Golubev said, his government expresses its willingness to cooperate with Bolivia by offering to donate missiles, establishing a nuclear industry and constructing a satellite launching station in this country.
"If Bolivia requests from us a kind of missile to defend, for example its air space, there is no problem. We will cooperate with Bolivia because we have a lot of sympathy for the government headed by President Evo Morales, where the changes and transformations were registered," Golubev said.
From April 26 to 28, Russian and Bolivian delegations will meet in Moscow to discuss and consolidate the progress regarding various scopes of cooperation.
The meeting will be conducted under the framework of an agreement reached by Bolivian President Evo Morales and Russian President Dmitry Medvedev and promotes bilateral cooperation in mining, hydrocarbon, defense and energy.
