The Israeli army arrested 32Palestinians in East Jerusalem and the West Bank early on Wednesday, Palestinian security sources said.

The sources said Israeli police forces stormed the neighborhoods of al-Aizareyya and Abu Deis in East Jerusalem and arrested 11 Palestinians, some of whom are children and former prisoners in Israel jails.

An Israeli army force also stormed parts of the West Bank city of Nablus early on Wednesday morning and nabbed 15 Palestinian young men from their homes, the sources said.

They added that another Israeli army force backed by jeeps and armored vehicles stormed the village of Zabouna, west of Jenin in northern West Bank, and detained one Palestinian resident wanted to Israel.

In Hebron in southern West Bank, the security sources said that the Israeli army raided several houses in the town and arrested five young men, adding they were taken to the Israeli army headquarters in the town for questioning.

Meanwhile, Palestinian militant groups in Gaza claim edresponsibility for launching several homemade rockets from northern Gaza Strip at southern Israeli towns.

Israeli Radio reported that eight homemade rockets fired from Gaza landed at southern Israel causing no damages or injuries. Both Fatah and Islamic Jihad (holy War) armed wings claimed for the attacks.
