Arab League Secretary General Amr Moussa rejected on Tuesday the International Criminal Court (ICC)' s decision to add genocide charge against Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir and issue a second arrest warrant against him, saying it will create a more volatile situation in Sudan.
Moussa told reporters that question marks hang over the time of arresting warrant against al-Bashir and adding charges of genocide to him.
The ICC on Monday decided to add genocide to charges against Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir and issue a second arrest warrant against him.
The ICC said in its new warrant that there are reasonable grounds to believe that the Sudanese president acted with specific intent to destroy in part the Fur, Masalit and Zaghawa ethnic groups in Darfur.
