The Global Southern Africa International Dialogue will be open in Lusaka Monday to foster economic development and diversity.
Among the key aspects of the economy to be discussed are energy, climate change, finance management and soaring food prices.
The dialogue will attract participants from southern Africa, the Commonwealth and beyond including Several heads of state and government from southern Africa.
This is the first time Zambia is hosting the dialogue.
"As a country we are hoping to learn from experiences and the expertise from other countries that have benefited from the smart partnership dialog.
"Zambia right now is working towards achieving the 2030 vision and I am sure there are a lot of beneficial measures that can be implemented from the dialog," Zambian Commerce Minister Felix Mutati told a press conference here Saturday. Source:Xinhua
