Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe said on Saturday the problem of disengagement of Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai's MDC party from cabinet has to be resolved internally.
He said it was not for outsiders to resolve, noting that Zimbabwean problems were best solved by Zimbabweans.
"For the MDC-T to say we are out but we are still in, ah we don't understand that language," he told mourners gathered at the national shrine for the burial of party cadre and Senator Misheck Chando.
"Anyway, that is ours to handle and we are glad anyway that we are talking about it."
Tsvangirai's party partially pulled out of the inclusive government two weeks ago protesting lack of progress in implementation of the Global Political Agreement (GPA) that his party, Mugabe's Zanu-PF and Deputy Prime Minister Arthur Mutambara's party signed in September last year.
The GPA paved way for the formation of the inclusive government in February.
Mugabe told the mourners that even the United Nations cannot prescribe solutions to Zimbabwe's internal problems.
"We have no-one to report to. If we go to the UN it says it's ours to resolve. So it's ours and we want therefore to solve the problem here. Its not for others, the problems can only be solved here in Zimbabwe. Our problems are our problems."
He slammed Western countries for misusing their economic power to impose sanctions on the country.
He said only the UN could impose sanctions on a member country, hence the West's sanctions were illegal.
Mugabe said Zimbabwe would consider taking the fight against the sanctions to the international fora.
Mugabe spoke as a Southern African Development Community troika on the Organ on Politics, Defense and Security is due to convene a summit of heads of state soon to discuss findings by the troika's ministerial team which concluded its two-day fact finding mission in Zimbabwe on Friday.
The team met Mugabe, Tsvangirai and Mutambara.
Since the announcement of the partial withdrawal on Oct. 16, Tsvangirai's party has not attended cabinet and council of ministers meeting.
