Dow Jones average plunges 10 percent from its year high |

Wall Street plunged Thursday with the Dow Jones average dropping more than 300 points despite the Fed injected 17 billion dollars into the markets.
As of 13:00 the Dow Jones industrial average was down 327.68 to 13533.79, more than 10 percent from its record close of 14000.41, which was set a month ago on July 19.
