Gold price higher in Hong Kong -- Aug. 23 |

The gold price in Hong Kong went up 40 HK dollars to 6,138 HK dollars per tael on Thursday, according to the Bank of China (Hong Kong).
The price is equivalent to 660.3 U.S. dollars a troy ounce, up 4.1 U.S. dollars at Thursday's exchange rate of one U.S. dollar against 7.803 HK dollars.
