Ten major Chinese banks have agreed to extend 176.2 billion yuan syndicated loans, the largest amount of its kind, to finance 18 projects across the nation, China Banking Association said yesterday.

The fund will be mainly pumped into infrastructure projects, which includes road construction projects in Jilin, Shanxi, Hebei provinces and Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region as well as railway construction in Tianjin ,Nanjing, Shenzhen and Changsha.
