Chinese equities climbed to above3,000 point, approaching one month high after the benchmark index edged at 3,046.97 on Aug. 17.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index added 1.24 percent, or 36.95 points to finish at 3,026.74.
The Shenzhen Component Index rose 2.39 percent, or 288.8 points, to end at 12,385.06.
