Hewlett-Packard (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd Wednesday launched the entertainment-packed HP Pavilion dv4, dv5 and dv7 notebook series, all of which feature built-in HP ProtectSmart hard drive protection.
HP ProtectSmart hard drive protection will automatically stop the hard drive from spinning after it detects sudden movement, helping to prevent the loss of data, its country general manager for personal systems group, Danny Lee Pak Cheong said after the launch here on Wednesday.
"This products are already available in the market and we are very confident with all our products," Malaysian national news agency Bernama quoted Lee as saying.
The company also introduced three series in the Compaq Presario notebook PC line, the CQ20, CQ40 and CQ45, which provide high value and attractive designs in an array of sizes and configurations.
According to him, the CQ20, a HP designed in Asia for Asia (DIAFA) product, will be uniquely available in Asia Pacific.
The CQ45 is a powerful system that pays equal attention to design and performance and offers a graphics technology that brings multimedia experiences and notebook computing.
The CQ40 is a versatile and affordable notebook for travel, which offers essential mobile and wireless technologies.
The new HP Pavilion notebook series offer consumers a choice of latest advanced micro device (AMD), Intel processors and a high-speed eSATA interface for backup to external storage drives, Lee said. Source:Xinhua
