China's largest homegrown carmaker Chery Automobile Co said on Thursday overseas sales surged 238 percent in August year-on-year to 10,360 vehicles.
Chery's August domestic sales jumped 42 percent over last year to 56,933 units, much better than the corresponding industry average of 18.5 percent.
