Three-time champion Venus Williams reached the semifinals at Wimbledon championships after beating Svetlana Kuznetsova of Russia in straight sets here on Thursday.
The American won 6-3, 6-4 and will take on either Ana Ivanovic of Serbia or the Czech Republic's Nicole Vaidisova in the semifinal.
