But Black and Huber yesterday overcame the loss of the first set and fought their way to take the second set after 35 minutes on Court One.
The more experienced pair of Black and Huber came into the third set with their guns blazing as they controlled the game.
Black and Huber were firmly in control as they served for the match before allowing their opponents to race ahead 40-0 in the last game of the set.
The Zimbabwean and her South African partner were more successful with their break points conversions where they achieved a 75 percent success and also won eight out of their 17 shots on first serve.
