Nigerian forward Vera Okolo scored two goals in the 22nd and 24th minute.
In the other semi-final, South Africa cruised past Ghana's Black Princesses with a 2-0 win. In the 67th minute, Veronica Phewa scored a goal and helped South Africa's Banyana gain a lead.

The final between Nigeria and South Africa will be staged on Sunday while hosts Algeria will vie for the bronze with Ghana on Saturday.
