The Ukrainian team took the gold medal of the women's 10 meter air pistol in Bangkok on Friday at the 24th Universiade with balanced performances of all three members.
The total score of Ukraine was 1,153 points, two points ahead of the runners-up South Korea.
India finished third with a total of 1,143 points despite Sarao Harveen's best individual qualification score of 388 points out of 40 shots, which is a high mark even in the International Shooting Sport Federation World Cup series.
The four-day competition of the shooting sport, first introduced into the Universiade program, offers 40 gold medals in 20 events.
