WBA featherweight champion Chris John of Indonesia is looking for a unification bout in Las Vegas, local press said Wednesday.
Chris said he didn't know who his next opponent would be, and that he would have to consult with his Australian coach Craig Christian.
"I will have to prepare better to fight in Las Vegas. Having a unification bout will be very tough," he was quoted by English daily The Jakarta Post as saying.
Chris, who turns 28 on Sept. 14, just returned from defending his belt Sunday against Japan's Zaiki Takemoto with a TKO win in Kobe.
His latest victory extended his record to 40 wins (21 KOs) and one draw.
