The Brazilian police went into the headquarters of the football club of Corinthians Tuesday and took some documents and information material for a money laundering case, reported local media.
Ex-president Alberto Dualib and ex-vice-president Nesi Curi, were among people being investigated by the police.
According to the news portal Globoesporte, Dualib and Curi are actually suspected for money laundering and illicit association by using the funds of the Russian-controlled agency Media Sports Investment (MSI).
In July, a Brazilian judge has declared jail condemnation for three leaders of MSI for the same case. The bank accounts in Brazil of MSI were also blocked.
MSI had relationship with the football club since 2005 and helped it engage some good players like Carlos Tevez and Javier Mascherano. Corinthians was champion of Brazil in the same year.
