Jordanis Wihdat Football Team will commence their journey in the first round of the 5th Arab Champions League (ACL) tonight when they face Morocco's MA Tetouan in Tangiers.
Jordan also sent another representative in the event, Faisali, which were drawn to play UAE's Shaab on September 21, according to the Jordanian Football Association.
Thirty-two teams will compete in ACL's first round.
The ACL, a tournament for clubs in the Arab world, was established in 1982 and was known as the Arab Club Champions Cup.
It merged with the Arab Cup Winners' Cup to form the new Prince Faisal Bin Fahd Tournament for Arab Clubs in 2001. Since the 2003 to 2004 season it has been known under its current name.
In the 4th edition of the ACL, Jordan's Faisali reached the final but conceded the title to ES Setif.
Tunisia's Safaqsi, Saudi Arabia's Ittihad, Morocco's Raja Casablanca and Algeria's ES Setif were champions of the past four editions.
