Uganda's delegation is expected to leave for China on Tuesday to attend the Special Olympics World Summer Games starting October 2 in Shanghai.

Herman Byaruhanga will head the coaching department of the national Special Olympics team.

"We have no injury worries and I am sure the athletes will win medals," Byaruhanga was quoted by New Vision on Tuesday as saying.

According to the director of Special Olympics Uganda Edward Babumba, who is traveling as overall team leader, 20 athletes will compete in five disciplines.

At the last two editions, Uganda won a total of 17 gold medals in both the individual and team sports.
