New Zealand and Chile have both pledged to host successful FIFA Women's events next year.
New Zealand will stage the U-17 women's World Cup and Chile will play host to the U-20 World Cup.
Graham Seatter, president of the U-17 women's World Cup Organizing Committee, told reporters here on Wednesday that New Zealand would try the whole country's utmost to make the event a success.
"We are excited to prepare for the tournament. It's our honor to do that. Matches will take place in four cities. And I think it will do good to women's football in the world," Seatter said at a press conference held for the FIFA Women's Football Symposium.
Harold Mayne-Nicholls, president of the Chilean Football Association and President of the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup Organizing Committee, is also committed to honoring the event.
The FIFA Women's Football Symposium will take place in Shanghai from Sept. 28 to 29.
