Germany coach Silvia Neid said on Wednesday she would watch with ease the women's World Cup semi-final between the United States and Brazil.
An own goal by Norway's Trine Ronning just before halftime set Germany on its way to the final, and it dominated the second half, with further goals to Kerstin Stegemann and Martina Mueller.
"I'm very proud of my team. Though it was tough in the beginning, our players defended very well," Neid told a post-match press conference.
"We didn't let Norway have too many chance to score. Under such situation, we are confident," she added.
Germany will play the winner of Thursday's United States-Brazil match, on Sunday in Shanghai.
"The United States is a physical strong team, a little bit like Norway. Brazil is good at controlling the ball. I will relax to watch tomorrow's match, preparing for the final," said Neid.
German midfielder Fatmire Bajramaj said she preferred to face Brazil in the final.
"The Americans are strong, while Brazil only have a few key players," she said.
