European champion in high jump Yaroslav Rybakov from Russia won the high jump gala contest organized in Salgotarjan, northern Hungary on Wednesday.
Rybakov cleared 2.33 meters at the event attended by around 1,500 fans.The second and third places were won by the Italian twin jumpers Nicola Ciotti and Giulio Ciotti, who both scored 2.24 meters.
Romana Dubnova from the Czech Republic won the women's high jump contest, scoring 1.91 meters. Zuzanna Rozsipalova, also of the Czech Republic, and Rita Babos Farkasne from Hungary shared the second place after clearing 1.75 meters.
