The United States, surprise Confederations Cup finalists, have called up seven uncapped players for next month's CONCACAF Gold Cup.
In the 23-man roster announced Thursday, only four players were retained from the Confederation Cup team, namely forward Freddy Adu, Charlie Davies, Heath Pearce and Luis Robles.
The U.S kick off their defence of their regional title against Grenada on July 4 and face Honduras and Haiti before the knock-out stage of the 12-team competition to be played at 13 venues across the United States.
All-time top scorer Landon Donovan and goalkeeper Tim Howard were among regulars left out.
