European champions Barcelona offered a high bid for Palmeiras striker Keirrison, said the Brazilian media on Friday.
The bid will be 15 million euros (about 20.90 million U.S. dollars) for the 20-year-old Brazilian, according to local press.
"The player won't be considered for Sunday's match against Santos ... and will remain out of the team until the situation is resolved," said Palmeiras.
Keirrison, who was playing for Coritiba when he finished as top scorer in the 2008 Brazilian championship with 20 goals, joined former Real Madrid coach Vanderlei Luxemburgo's Palmeiras in January.
