Liu grabs gold from women's trap

China's veteran Liu Yingzi received a gold from the women's trap at the ongoing ISSF World Cup Final (shotgun) on Sunday.

A heavy snow unexpectedly befell in Beijing on Sunday, which influenced the shooters' performance both in the qualification and the final.

Liu, who made 69 hits out of 75 shots in the qualification phase, established a 6-hit lead at the beginning of the final.

Liu continued her stable form in the final, knocking down 84 hits out of 100 shots to claim her first gold medal in the World Cup Final.

Zuzana Stefecekova and Satu Makela-Nummela were ranked after her.

In the competition of women's skeet, Christine Wenzel beat Katiuscia Spada and Svetlana Demina to win the title.
