Fluminense shocked Cruzeiro on Sunday by pulling out a 3-2 victory in the 33rd round of the Brazilian Championship.

Trailing by two goals early in the match, the team from Rio de Janeiro was able to win a much needed victory.

"It was one of the biggest victories of my career. It was a very important win. We beat a great team and are now on a six-gameun defeated streak. The team is evolving quickly," Fluminense head coach Cuca said.

Cuca's secret to success was the strategy he implemented in the second half. Deciding to field two additional offensive players upfront as well as giving his midfielders room to be more aggressive, the tactic worked amazingly well, turning the game around and leading his team to victory.

Fluminense's win improves their standing to the 19th place with33 points, leaving last place to Sport with 30 points. The club still believes that it is possible to salvage their season and remain among the elite soccer teams in Brazil in the first division (Serie A) of the Brazilian Championship for the 2010 season.

Only five matches remain in this year's tournament. The team will need to win every remaining game in order to keep their status as a first division team.
