The leaders of Slovak political parties negotiating about division of minister chairs in new coalition government interrupted the talks to watch the final minutes of their World Cup match against Italy.
Slovakia beat defending champions Italy in their group match and qualified for the round of 16.
Iveta Radicova, probably the future prime minister, said: "I am so glad, it is unbelievable. I know it as I heard the cries from here and from outside."
