While in China, many foreigners are attracted by the vibrant scenes here. The journalist interviewed 100 foreigners from 16 countries. And they all said they were fascinated by the profound Chinese culture. They felt a huge potential for business opportunities in China and witnessed the happy life of the Chinese people.

Long history and advanced cultures

As far as Bill Jones, a journalist with the U.S. magazine Executive, saw it, China was a big country with a long history, advanced cultures and highly distinctive features. China has a large population. The Chinese people are hard-working and good at learning. China also had a long history of culture. These were all its advantages.

The way to a well-off society

Speaking of the quick development of China, Leonora Torres, Secretary of the Mexico-China Friendship Association, felt amazed. "In the past 38 years, I have witnessed the amazing changes in China，especially its progress in science and technology," she said, "When I came to China for the first time, I saw a lot of large-scale water conservancy facilities under construction. Numerous Chinese workers were working hard with their hands and shoulders at the sites. Today I come to China again, and what I see at the construction sites are big machines and equipment with computer systems. A tall building can be completed within a short time. In addition, the street sights have changed a lot, compared to a month ago. This is astonishing. The life of people in rural areas has also improved greatly thanks to the scientific and technological power. From all these phenomena, we can see the greatness of the Communist Party of China. Without its leadership, such progress would have been impossible."

Enhanced international influence

Sani Moussa, a research fellow with the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs, said Chinese people contribute to the local economy wherever they go. Meanwhile, they proactively took up the social obligations and international responsibilities there. With a large population of 1.3 billion people, China has made such brilliant achievements on its own. This has won the admiration of people all over the world.
