When there is so much applaud for the G20 Summit concluded in London on April 2, what challenges are ahead of the road to translate the words into actions? For China specifically, how should the country respond to the high expectation from the rest of the world? And the Summit has also became a platform for major powers including China and the US to look at their bilateral relations beyond the economic field.

Professor Jin Canrong: Associate Dean, School of International Studies, Renmin University of China，
He is also visiting professor at the Gerald Ford School of Public Policy, University of Michigan, and the “Weilun” Chair Professor at Tsinghua University of China
His major fields relate with American politics (US Congress in particular), American foreign policy, Sino-US relations, China’s foreign policy. His main publication include 500 various papers, including about 80 academic papers, 7 books and 5 translation (including “Liberal Tradition in America” by Louis Hart; “Between Hope and History” by President Bill Clinton; “Diplomacy” by Henry Kissinger). He is the first columnist in international politics in the mainland China, “Focusing on America” in World Affairs (a half-monthly), from 1995 to 1998.
His education background includes a BA from Shanghai Fudan University in political science, a MA from the Graduate School of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), and a PhD from the School of International Studies, Peking University. Before joining the Renmin University, from 1987 to 2002, he worked for the Institute of American Studies at Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS).
