Russian's Space Adventure is to double the price for a flight to the International Space Station, Interfax news agency reported on Thursday.
The price will be raised to 30-40 million U.S. dollars from the current 20-25 million dollars, the space tourism company said.
The company said it had booked two seats for space tourists aboard the Russian spaceships Soyuz TMA-13 and Soyuz TMA-14. The flights are scheduled in autumn 2008 and spring 2009.
The Russian Federal Space Agency head Anatoly Perminov said earlier that a Russian citizen could travel to the ISS in autumn 2008, following another five millionaires space tourists.
