On May 13, Japanese company Fujitsu Limited announced that it has successfully developed the world's fastest central processing unit (CPU) and completed the prototype.

According to a report by Kyodo News, the CPU developed by Fujitsu is capable of performing 128 billion operations per second, which is 2.5 times the speed of the fastest CPU in the market developed by Intel. This newly developed CPU has been named "Venus." The application of precision technology in the circuit line width has enhanced the level of circuit integration and increased the computing speed accordingly.
