Twenty award-winning magicians will perform in Malaysia during one of the largest magic festivals in the Asian region this November, local media reported on Wednesday.
The launching ceremony of the Genting International Magic Festival 2007 was held on Tuesday, the New Straits Times said.
The event's two main features will be a "Champions of Magic Show" and a "Stars of Magic" competition, at which, invited established or rising stars of the magic world will compete for a first prize of 10,000 U.S. dollars.
The festival will be held from Nov. 16 to 25 at a hill resort in Malaysia.
There will also be daily magic workshops, competitions and enrichment sessions for children and adults who aspire to be magicians.
