Brazilian police have recovered one of the two stolen prints of famous Spanish painter Pablo Picasso and arrested a suspect.

Police said Saturday that they got information about the Picasso print in a tapped phone conversation when they were keeping an eye on the suspect, identified as Ueslei Barros, and two other men who had planned to steal automatic teller machines and rob banks.

Then, police arrested 30-year-old Barros and found one stolen print "The Painter and the Model" that was hidden in an attic of a building on the outskirts of Sao Paulo.

Two famous Picasso paintings, including the recovered one and "Minotaur, Drinker and Women", along with the "Women at the Window" by Emiliano Di Cavalcanti and "Couple" by Lasar Segall had been stolen from the Estacao Pinacoteca Museum in Sao Paulo on June 12.

Those paintings have a total value of 1 million reals (about 630,000 U.S. dollars), the museum said, adding that the recovered print is now in good condition.
