An ambitious girl: sells all of her time except dining and rest periods

18-year-old Yaoyao has worked part-time distributing leaflets at a supermarket, promoted beverages and sold newspapers. She said that she likes all kinds of games and pursues freedom. She is so ambitious that she wants to sell her "spare time" despite the fact that she is very young.

In July 2009, she advertised her "spare time" on the Internet, claiming: "You will have the right to arrange my life, it is my honor to serve you and I am willing to devote myself to those who really need time."

Yaoyao said she intends to sell all of her spare time except dining and rest periods, and she will do many things for the buyer: bring unexpected joy; take photos and upload them onto the Internet; walk, shop, chat with and listen to the buyer; greet guests; serve coffee; arrange birthday parties; buy train tickets; accompany patients; send food to beggars; and taste snacks.

Yaoyao stressed that she will accomplish her tasks in public places and avoid erotic and violent behavior.

Yaoyao disclosed that the total price for her "spare time" is equivalent to the cost for the time spent plus the bus fare and the cost of certain items. The cost for the time spent is calculated depending on three concrete situation. Firstly, 3 yuan per 8 minutes for simple tasks that do not require travel: sending a text message, making a telephone call, recharging a cell phone (cost of the recharge card excluded), and receiving an email or a package.

Secondly, 20 yuan per hour for manual work requiring a bus journey: seeing a friend on behalf of the buyer (only in public places), visiting a patient in hospital, looking after a child at school, looking after the elderly at old people's home; helping to buy flowers or helping busy HR to recruit employees and collect information at job markets.

Thirdly, 60 yuan per eight hours for long-time work that requires a bus journey. Yaoyao also pointed out that there will be a discount for long-term cooperation, and the fees can be prepaid and deducted item by item.

Encounter harassment: She once was mistaken for a sex worker

Although business is good, it comes with harassment

"Hi, is this Yaoyao? How much do you charge for working in the evening? Is the rate cheaper than that of the sexual workers on the Yuegui Road?" asked a man with a wretched voice. Yaoyao has received three harassment calls in just one week, but she cannot do anything about it. Although she has made a clear declaration in her post, this type of unexpected trouble still exists.
