The blueprint of the revolving hotel.

Richard Hywel Evans, a UK architect who specializes in holiday resort design, has designed the world's first revolving hotel.

The hotel has a three-story section with 50 revolving rooms. It will rotate 1.3 times in the middle of a purpose-built swimming lake. The hotel will be set in the swimming lake which cascades down to a hillside spa below.

The hotel costing 70 million pounds will be built on Solta, a small island off the coast of Croatia.

The full development of the hotel includes a new, 170-berth marina plus yacht club and the resort will feature guest pavilions and villas as well as the hotel.
