Sunflowers: the reason to love sun

Sunflowers are always growing towards the sun, hence their name. The language of sunflowers is bravely seeking happiness. Though this summer's blazing sun in Beijing is annoying, the luxuriant sunflowers basking in its glow may be some consolation.

Location: Doushan Town, Fangshan District Area: 250 mu Flowering: early August Tel: 80317100

Bus route: Take bus No. 993 to Tianjiayuan Station and change to No.11 to Jiaodaoyi Street Driving directions: Exit the Jingshi Highway at Doudian and drive east.

Tips: Only part of the orchard is open in July. To admire patches of sunflowers, it's better to wait until August.
