Environmental puppy well known for recycling plastic bottles

A video recording a golden puppy wandering among a crowd with a shabby basket and picking up the plastic bottles on the ground has become very popular on Chinese Web sites recently.
Whenever the puppy found a plastic bottle, he would pick up the bottle with his mouth and put it into his basket then take the basket and go on walking. More than 300,000 people have watched the video and more than 2,200 netizens made comments on it to praise the puppy as both clever and environmentally conscious.
The video also shows that whenever the dog passed by a store, the shopkeeper would say hello to him and call him "Niuniu," his nick name. Then Niuniu would walk to the shopkeeper and shake hands in gentlemanly way with his fans. Many shop owners said that since this star puppy came to the street, people are littering less and less.
The video was posted on the Internet as an entry into a video competition on the theme of sustainable development held by the "World Economic Forum" and youku.com originally. The winner will be invited as a VIP to participate in the Davos Forum this summer in Tianjin and have dialogue with world's political and economic celebrities.
