Chinese dancer blogs about breast implant operation

The Internet is abuzz about Wang Yixuan, a dancing coach who has recorded her breast augmentation operation and posted her account on her blog last month.

Wang, a 27 year-old girl, is working as an art director in a dancing studio in Beijing. In order to have a fuller bust, she participated in a program held by Qinghai TV, which providing a chance for common people to realize their dream on Aug. 22. Although she failed on the program, a cosmetic surgery hospital in Beijing offered to provide a free operation to her.

Meanwhile, Wang opened a blog named "Flat-chested Dancer's Bosom Operation Diary" and recorded the process of making the decision and the whole operation.

She and her friend went into the operation room together and the friend helped her record the whole operation with a camera, including anesthesia, drawing scope, breast augmentation and stitching. Later she posted the pictures and captions on her blog, which has aroused debate among netizens. Some supporters considered her as a brave girl, while some other said she was promoting herself.

However, Wang said she hasn't think over too much about this. She just wanted to realize her dream.

A medical record said that she was diagnosed to have breast hypogenesis.

"I was afraid to look into the mirror because I thought I had physical defects," Wang said. "Some people asked me if received the surgery to attract a man. I answered that I did it for myself. "

She said that receiving the breast augmentation operation is just like a woman making up and dressing in nice clothes to make herself more perfect.

"I opened the blog is because I hope everyone can face their defeats and do the right things we really want rather than suggest all the girls who have the same harassment should receive the surgery," Wang told the reporter.
