Chinese legendary warlord's tomb exhibition to open in September

The temporary exhibition of Cao Cao's tomb built to satisfy the demand of visitors is currently preparing for its public opening at the beginning of September 2010.

Cao Cao was a legendary warlord of the Three Kingdoms period (208-280 AD).

The planned area for the temporary exhibition is 787 square meters, and the floor space is about 700 square meters, with the total length of the visitors' corridor standing at 291 meters, according to Xu Huiqian, governor of Anyang County.

Currently, a total of more than 200,000 words on the exhibition boards and more than 500 pictures have been arranged. In addition, the design of the exhibition hall and the exhibition boards in the visitors' corridor have been completed and the temporary exhibition of Cao Cao's tomb is expected to contain multiple functions, such as tour reception, shows and exhibitions, conferences and official business meetings after it is completed.

According to sources, Anyang County will also construct an express lane on National Highway No.107, which will pass by the Anfeng township government and run to Cao Cao's tomb. The lane will be nearly 9.7 kilometers long and 13.5 meters wide, with a 15-meter-wide roadbed. It will also involve investments totaling 61 million yuan.

Currently, Anyang County is actively trying market-oriented operations such as establishing a financing platform to attract social funds from multiple channels in order to better protect and utilize Cao Cao's tomb.
