A California judge Wednesday formally awarded Jennifer Lopez 545,000 U.S. dollars in the lawsuit against her ex-husband Ojani Noa who tried to publish a tell-all book about their relationship, the U.S. media reported.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Michael Solner upheld the earlier ruling by a court-ordered arbitrator, a permanent injunction barring Noa from disclosing information about their relationship for personal gain, and ordered him to turn over all materials related to the book.

The court denied Noa's request for a postponement.

The 38-year-old singer-actress married Ojani Noa in 1997 when her career had not taken off. The former waiter now is a restaurant and nightclub manager.

They divorced 11 months later but still kept a friendly relationship until Lopez fired Noa who managed her Pasadena eatery for six months in 2002.

Noa then filed against her a wrongful-termination lawsuit which was solved out of the court. He received a settlement of 125,000 dollars that mandated he not disclose information about their relationship.

But Noa revealed in a January 2006 article in the New York Post that he planed a book titled "The Unknown Truth: A Passionate Portrait of a Serial Thriller," which would describe the details during their marriage. He had offered not to publish the book if Lopez paid him 5 million dollars, according to Lopez's suit.

Lopez filed a lawsuit against Noa in June 2006 to block the publication of the book. An arbitrator awarded her 200,000 dollars in damages, 300,000 dollars in attorneys' fees and nearly 48,000 dollars in arbitration costs.

Lopez married her second husband, dancer Chris Judd, in September 2001 and divorced from him the following July. She married New York-born singer Marc Anthony in June 2004, five months after she broke off her highly publicized engagement to actor Ben Affleck.
