This Is It grosses $101 million worldwide

Michael Jackson's This Is It grossed $101 million worldwide in its first five days. The movie took in $32.5 million in the US and $68.5 million overseas, including $3.2 million in China.

This Is It records Jackson' s behind-the-scenes rehearsal for the London shows in the weeks and days his death in June. He was 50.

The film was originally scheduled to run for only two weeks. However, This Is It' s distributor Sony has extended the run for a few more week through Thanksgiving.
