Luoyang police armed with home-made 9MM revolvers
|
On the afternoon of January 14, the special police and officers who patrol the urban streets in Luoyang city of Henan province have been equipped with 9MM police revolvers.
Compared with the "Type 66" and "Type 77" pistols currently being used, the 9MM revolvers are smaller and lighter, and can fire not only real bullets but also rubber bullets.
The 9MM police revolvers are the first pistols that have been especially designed for the police in China.
The revolvers are lethal and life threatening within a distance of 50 meters.
