People play in a park near the Site of the Panama Pacific International Exposition in San Francisco, California, the United States, on Feb. 8, 2010. As a celebration of the completion of the Panama Canal, the exposition held here in 1915 was a tremendous success. Constructed from temporary materials, almost all the fair's various buildings and attractions were pulled down in late 1915. The only surviving building, the Palace of Fine Arts, remained in place and was completely reconstructed in the 1960's. (Xinhua/Wu Kaixiang)
