101.73-carat diamond to be auctioned in Geneva

Led by a truly sensational pear-shaped, D colour, flawless diamond of 101.73 carats, the sale will reach to an estimated combined total of 65 million dollars. This Type IIA Flawless gem was found at the Jwaneng mine in Botswana and took 21 months to polish. This gemstone is estimated to be sold at a price between 20 to 30 million dollars and the successful buyer will have the privilege of endowing the diamond a name. (Xinhua/Wang Siwei)
