MUMBAI, Aug. 14 -- Indian Defense Minister A. K. Antony said Wednesday that all the 18 sailors trapped in a submarine which caught fire, exploded and sank are feared dead, reported local TV channel Times Now.
Antony, who will brief Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on the explosion, also said he felt sad for those sailors who have lost their life in the navy disaster.
A Russian-made submarine of the Indian Navy caught fire, exploded and sank at a major navy dockyard in downtown Mumbai shortly after midnight on Wednesday morning.
