A bomb shell dropped on the premises of Russian embassy in Damascus on Sunday, with no casualties reported so far, Russian media said.
"A shell has fallen on the territory of the embassy. Nobody was injured," the Itar-Tass news agency quoted an unnamed embassy's duty diplomat as saying.
"The representation is working normally," the source added.
The RIA Novosti news agency said earlier two people were injured in the shell struck, which left a one-meter diameter hole.
