BAMAKO, Sept. 28 -- Suicide bombers blew themselves up in the vehicle packed with explosives in front of a military camp in Mali's northern city of Timbuktu n Saturday, killing at least two civilians and injuring four soldiers, a military source said.
The military source told Xinhua that the suicide attack happened in front of the camp of Cheick Sidi El Bakaye.
Eyewitnesses said they saw the vehicle before it exploded and that there were three men on board.
According to residents of Timbuku, there might be more deaths in the military. "There were a dozen guards at the entrance of the camp who are dead. Inside the camp, the military prison collapsed, " they said.
