Brunei, China join hands for energy projects

Brunei is willing to strengthen energy cooperation with China and plans to increase exports of crude oil to China from current 13,000 barrels per day to 16,000 barrels per day, said Brunei's minister of energy Pehin Dato Mohammad Yasmin Umar recently.

He said that Brunei will actively encourage Chinese energy companies to invest and establish factories in Brunei in the energy sector, including the solar and wind power industries, which have a great potential for development.

In addition, China's huge oil services industry also offers Brunei more choices in oil procurement and cooperation.
